plug the cords where they belong
i feel like a robot when something went wrong
the scientists are all going mad
as they throw my broken pieces into the trash
broken hearts begin to mend
as they scrap the metal and start over again
“What is wrong with you?” they all say
as if i could reply with the lights that fill my face
is it possible for the robot to feel?
is it possible that this is even real?
don’t bother with faith, don’t tangle with fate
computers are what they are.
never known a string of hope
they only know what they’ve been told
that you live and die, they cant digest the word “alive”
all your stupid human things
like emotions and freedom of speech
are something it will never know.
At first i thought it was kind of sad, really.
but not if you see the beauty in simplicity
